Deacons

The Deacons Ministry assists the pastor; to include the affairs of the church, serving the members on our ward and serving communion.

Deaconess

The mission of the Deaconess Ministry is to meet the needs of the church congregation, under the spiritual guidance of our pastor and the deacons.  Whenever there are sick and shut-in members as well as members in need of prayer, the Deaconess Ministry will be there to help.

The Duties of a Deaconess:  A deaconess must first know her responsibilities.  Her Christian role is to be faithful and seek ways to serve others.  The deaconesses serve under the leadership of the Pastor, preparing Communion and seeing that candidates are properly prepared for baptism and taking lead in other ministries of the church when called upon by the Pastor.  Deaconesses should be prayerful at all times and ready to take on Christian’s task as assigned by the Pastor.
