Greetings in the Name of our Lord:

As we begin another year, I wanted to take this opportunity to share some words of encouragement with you from the Word of God.

So often, we “over promise” on our New Year Resolutions! At least I have found that’s something that I have done in the past. We resolve to lose weight, read the Bible and pray every day, stop being so cranky, be more thankful, and the list could go on and on.

There’s a beautiful scripture I would like to share with you that no doubt you have read or sung at one point in your walk with the Lord. Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” The goal and gain of every believer should be to know God in a deeper and more intimate way. I challenge you to take life one day at a time and walk with Jesus each and every day. Jesus is there to lead you and guide you through the minutes and moments of life. He stated in the Scriptures, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Don’t give up when you face difficulties. You are not alone. God will see you through. My prayer to God for you this year is that you will have a more intimate relationship with God. God has given you means to know and discover him. Please utilize your Bible and Prayer each and every day.

Jesus gives us a Directive, to make a Discovery that will lead us to our Destiny. He is not just our “Guide” but, He is there to “Govern and Give” us the assistance to meet His mandate and be with Him in Heaven.
